The fixed tooth plate is the "fixed support wall" of the crushing chamber in a jaw crusher. Its core function is to cooperate with the movable tooth plate to complete the crushing process while ensuring its stability. Specifically, its functions are as follows:
1. Forming the Crushing Chamber: Installed at a specific angle with the movable tooth plate, it forms a crushing chamber that is wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, providing crushing space for the material and guiding it downwards from the feed inlet for gradual refinement.
2. Bearing Crushing Reaction Force: When the material is squeezed by the movable tooth plate, it generates a huge reaction force. The fixed tooth plate, through its stable structure, bears this force, preventing the equipment from shifting due to force and causing a decrease in crushing accuracy.
3. Auxiliary Crushing Action: Through its tooth shape design (such as trapezoidal teeth or wavy teeth), it forms a shearing and squeezing action with the movable tooth plate, enhancing the crushing effect on the material, especially suitable for coarse and medium crushing of hard, blocky materials.
4. Guiding Discharge:The inclination angle of the crushing chamber, combined with the surface characteristics of the fixed tooth plate (such as tooth surface roughness), controls the material's falling speed, preventing blockages and ensuring smooth discharge of the crushed material.

As the static counterpart in jaw crushers, fixed jaw plates form the primary crushing surface for hard rocks. Used in granite processing, they withstand continuous impact while maintaining precise discharge gaps, ensuring uniform aggregate sizing for high-strength concrete production.
