2. Select the hammer material according to the characteristics of the material
When choosing the material of the hammer, it is necessary to fully understand the composition of the crushed material and its hardness, particle size, sharpness of sharp corners, moisture, etc. The higher the hardness of the material, the higher the hardness requirements for the hammer material; The larger the blockiness of the material, the higher the toughness requirements.
Practical experience shows that the material hardness of the hammer should be more than 0.8 times of the hardness of the material. On this basis, take into account the size and speed of the hammer head and choose a material with reasonable hardness and toughness.
3. Select the hammer head material according to the crusher structure
1) The hammer head of the ordinary hammer crusher is fixed on the shaft by the hammer frame, the centrifugal force is large during operation, and the hammer head is subjected to large impact load, so high-toughness and wear-resistant materials should be selected;

3) The larger the size of the crusher, the greater the weight of the hammer, the greater the momentum and impulse, the higher the requirements for the hammer, and the wear-resistant materials with high toughness should be selected.
